If you would like to be included on our e-mail distribution list, or your e-mail or other contact information has changed since your student graduated from the program, please email our Webmaster with updates to your contact information.

Distribution list is only used to send information regarding scholarship deadlines and auction information. Your information will not be sold or shared.

 SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be alumni of Lighthouse Elementary Cooperative and have participated a minimum of three years.

  • Applicants must be a high school senior or of equivalent grade level and be enrolled in or be accepted by an accredited college, university, or vocational education institution.

Application Requirements

  • Completed Lighthouse Scholarship Fund Application form

  • Two (2) letters of recommendation

  • Copy of letter of acceptance from college, university, or vocational education institution applicant will attend, or statement explaining acceptance or intent to attend said post-secondary institution

  • Brief statement stating educational objectives, career goals, past and present extracurricular activities (community involvement) and how this scholarship will help you reach your goals

  • Interviews may be required of scholarship finalists.

Scholarship Amount

The amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a single winning applicant.

Scholarship Awards

Scholarship awards are to be applied towards tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment required for the course at the educational institution. The money will be paid directly to the winning applicant's college, university or vocational institution.

Area of study

Any major or course of study will be considered as approved by accredited educational institution.

Screening Committee

The application committee will include a fair and unbiased panel approved by the Lighthouse Elementary Cooperative Board.

Lighthouse Elementary Cooperative reserves the right to use the name and/or photograph of scholarship award recipients in promotional materials designed to increase awareness of the scholarship fund and to solicit funding or advertise fund raising events for Lighthouse and the Scholarship fund. By accepting the scholarship award, recipients understand their college, university or vocational education institution may request confirmation of scholarship rewards from EPSF in connection with institutional financial aid matters.

Scholarship Presentation

The scholarship will be presented to the recipient at the last Lighthouse parent meeting on June 23, 2022.
